Are there certain requirements to join your e-bike tour?

Yes, for the safety and comfort for all guests, we require the following:

• Minimum rider age of 16 years

• Minimum rider height of 5 feet (150cm)

• Maximum rider weight of 300 pounds (136kg)

• A Signed Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement (provided upon visit)

• A Sense of Humor - Essential

What previous cycling experience do I need to ride an e-bike?

Whilst our tours are suitable for most ability levels, you must be confident of riding a regular bike with at least basic proficiency. On the Day of the Tour, our expert guide will provide a safety briefing and assess your skill level with the e-bike As such, your ride may be adapted to align with your level of riding experience.

What kind of terrain should I expect on the tours?

Loose rock, gravel, single trail, and uphill and downhill sections may be present on the trails

(a) Our Public Join In Tours leave twice daily (morning and afternoon).

(b) For our Private Tours you can choose the departure time.

What do I bring on an e-bike tour?

Comfortable, fitted clothing, closed-toed shoes, a warm sweater/layer + sunglasses. Feel free to bring your personal water bottle as we have a dispenser, however we do provide complimentary water and snacks in your personal pouches. We can also happily offer storage at our office for any bags/suitcases while you are on the tour.

There are no additional fees for renting e-bikes or standard equipment for our tours. Everything you need is included in the tour price.

Yes, we offer both private and group e-bike tours. Private tours are perfect for a more personalized experience, while our group tours are great for meeting new people.

What is your cancellation and refund policy for LA e-bike tours?

This tour is weather dependent, and will be assessed per health and safety. If weather is a concern we will update tour viability at least 1-hour prior. Full refunds will be automatically issued.

Additionally, we understand that travel/booking plans change & that stuff happens, so we allow:

• Cancel up to 24 hours before event. Happily accept transfer and credit.

• Up to 7 days before the event: transfer, credit or full refund.  

• Up to 2 days before the event: transfer, credit, or 50% refund.  

• Less than 24 hours before the event: transfer, credit, no refund. 

• No show: no transfer, no credit, no refund. 

We will trust the reasoning provided with each event cancellation, and will process it according to the policy. We ask for honesty and consideration, as we'd like to maintain positive policies while still striving to support operations appropriately.
