Co Founder Gavin Brennan in front of the Griffith Observatory

G’day!

We are expat Aussies in Atwater Village who have just launched the first e-bike tour company offering small group, guided adventures of the eastside of Los Angeles.

Exploration has always been at the heart of how, why and what we do. Immersing ourselves in nature, mere steps from world famous icons of this fascinating City of Angels, yet a world away from cars and crowds.

We like to joke that all riders joining us must BYO Sense of Humor, because we like to have fun. We named each of our e-bikes in honor of native California trees, drew inspiration for our winged logo from the City of Angels & the Los Angeles Times newspaper, and rigorously designed our tours to be mostly car-free and fun-filled.

A little about us ….

Gavin Brennan is a lifelong cyclist who grew up cycling & sailing in Australia, taught scuba diving (+ led dive tours) at Egypt’s famed Blue Hole and throughout Thailand, and then moved to the US to become an Emmy-nominated adventure cameraman (Ice Road Truckers, Storage Wars, Tiny House Nation and Beyond Oak Island)

Evangelical about the eastside of Los Angeles, Atwater Village has been Gavin’s home for the past 20+ years, where he rides and hikes daily.  "When I discovered e-bikes I was astonished at their ease, efficiency and inclusiveness,” notes Gavin. “They unlock this magnificent city, giving access to folk who otherwise may be hesitant to ride. It's now so easy to glide through Griffith Park and uphill to the top trailheads because the e-bikes do all the work. It’s literally a magic carpet ride.”

Gavin used the e-bike to thread together all his ‘best of’ cycling routes, then introduced the experience to his wife Shelli-Anne Couch, a fellow expat and former luxury marketing and media executive who also has a deep history of advocacy on the Eastside (including a Congressional “Woman of the Year” for public service).

Together they saw an opportunity to share the extraordinary expanse of the Eastside - crowned by Griffith Park and the LA River - plus eclectic, often-overlooked eastside neighborhoods such as Atwater Village, Frogtown/Elysian Valley, Glassell Park, Elysian Park, DTLA, Mt Washington, Montecito Heights, Lincoln Heights and MUCH more.

Designed for both locals and visitors alike, our small group tours guarantee a personalized experience, whether you're looking to explore the city's secrets, enjoy a unique outdoor activity, or simply experience the joy of e-biking.
